| - About your Domain Name
- Unless you already own your domain name you will need to make sure that your desired domain name is available. If your domain name needs to be registered, we can do that for you if necessary. Please note that you must request your domain be registered through the control panel and we will use the information that you have supplied in the control panel. If you own a domain that is processed through another domain registrar, we will require you to make the necessary DNS changes for your domain. We will send you the required information once you sign up.
Domain parking is only available if Sandpoint Hosting Services registers your website. Non-Sandpoint Hosting Services customers are not to use any Sandpoint Hosting Services name servers or technical information without prior written permission. - Order Completion
- Upon completion of your sign up form, we will send you an e-mail with all of your account information to access your site. This e-mail will outline your control panel username and password to allow you to create FTP/FrontPage, and E-mail userIDs after you login. All server information will be presented within the control panel. If your domain name is already registered we will include information on how to change your name servers to point your website name to your new server.
Due to the abundance of credit card fraud on the internet and the amount of purchasing done by third parties on behalf of other customers, it is at our discretion that we could potentially ask you for the credit card holder's signature. If your account shows differences between the owner and the credit card holder, there is a strong chance we will contact you. This is not meant to be an inconvenience, rather we wish to only protect our customers, especially by customers who sign up on behalf of others. Identity theft is a huge problem on the Internet, and Sadnpoint Hosting Services maintains the highest standard of security that no other hosting company matches by far. We know, customers have thanked us for this high level of security. - Step 1: Verify that your desired domain name is available.
- Use the following service to check the availability of your desired domain name. Enter your desired domain name and select one of the extensions, ".com", ".net", or ".org". For example to see if video1.com was available you would enter video1, select .com and click on Check Name.
Go to our Domain Query Service at the bottom of the Domain Registration page if you wish to verify your domain name now.
(You may have to use your country's domain registrar to verify your domain name too.) You may purchase your domain via the control panel. - Step 2: Understand Policies

- Due to a huge amount of Internet fraud going on in this day and age, Sandpoint Hosting Services does not recommend the use of "free e-mail" account services to be utilized as your sole contact e-mail during the sign up process. Examples are: Yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc. There may be a slight delay in your order if you do use one. Free e-mail account services, although very convenient for all of us, are also very convenient to spammers and hackers to use too. We do know some of them offer pay e-mail services, but the vast majority of users use free accounts with those providers. We apologize for any inconveniences the potential delay may add, but it is for security reasons that we do this.
If you absolutely have to use one of those e-mail services, that is fine, just make note of the possible delay in your order even if you are a paying customer of that service. Thank you. Press the "I Agree" button if you agree to all of Sandpoint Hosting Services policies listed on this page.
